Dr Simon Murphy - Chair

 

Dr Simon Murphy is Deputy Chair of the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.

Simon has worked in a number of interim Chief Executive roles in the Voluntary and Community Sector.  Simon holds a PhD in Conflict Regulation in Northern Ireland.

James Weaver - Director

 

​James started his professional career in the Royal Air Force before taking on various roles delivering transformation, operational delivery and continuous improvement in the public sector. These roles ranged across defence, justice and immigration, health and social care, and local government. With over 15 years’ public sector experience, James is the Midlands Regional Director sitting on multiple LIFTCo boards acting on behalf of Community Health Partnership (CHP). He is passionate about driving productivity, improving health outcomes delivered through the LIFT estate and is keen to support better care in the community.

B. Ravi Kumar - Director

 

Ravi is a Director on various LIFTCos (healthcare joint ventures between public and private sectors), Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) and their related companies. He is a management accountant and corporate treasurer, and holds a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors. His involvement in PPP dates back over 25 years and in LIFT PPP almost 20 years across roles in both the private and public sectors, starting with roles in financial management before moving into investment management. He has led on various transactions including acquisitions and disposals of investments interests and other initiatives aimed at enhancing the value of the investment portfolio such as re-financings. He has served on PPP company boards since 2008.

James Lloyd - Director

James is the Chief Executive Officer of gbpartnerships group and an accomplished senior leader with deep expertise in public–private partnerships (PPP), strategic consultancy, and the development and stewardship of health and public sector infrastructure. Since joining the organisation’s Finance team in 2013, James has progressed through key leadership roles—including Finance Director and Deputy CEO—playing a central role in shaping the Group’s strategic direction and sustained growth. Alongside his executive responsibilities, James serves as a Director on several NHS LIFT Boards and a Hub PPP Board, where he contributes to the delivery, management, and long-term optimisation of critical public sector assets across the UK.

Daan Vermeer - Director

 

Daan joined the Equitix Asset Management team in June 2017 and is responsible for both social infrastructure and renewable energy assets. In his current role, Daan is appointed as Director on the Board of assets and portfolio companies spanning Acute Healthcare, Community Healthcare, Government Property, Student Accommodation, Social Housing and Schools.  He is passionate about ensuring consistent service delivery to clients, and their service users, whilst ensuring stable investor returns.  Daan’s expertise include development, delivery, ongoing operational management and handback stages. He is experienced at dealing with multiple project stakeholders to ensure a smooth delivery of services.

 

Daan has worked in the UK and European infrastructure and renewable energy markets since 2006. Prior to Equitix, he worked part-time in operational SPV management. His experience also includes extensive commercial and technical investment risk management for infrastructure projects.

 

He holds a PhD from University College London on the subject of collective learning in strategic PPP procurement systems, an MSc in Construction Management Engineering, and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.
